Swimming

Finley has been taking swim lessons at a new facility and has been doing great. She can push off the wall, swim and turn over and float on her back all by herself. With seeing how well Finley is doing we decided to take Hudson out of Rose Bowl and put him in Waterworks. Today was his first day and he did well. He is still taking private lessons with his buddy Henry which helps. After lessons they all go to play in the kids area and they had a blast.

Kids Space

This afternoon we went to Kids Space museum for an hour with Connie and Henry. They have a river running through the upper area. The kids had a blast playing in the water. They all were drenched and we had to take the kids home in underwear. They both asked to go again the next day.

Day at the Beach while Camping

Today we got up and the kids wanted to play on the beach all day. They had a great time building tunnels under the sand and making waterfalls with the water. Both of the kids finally broke through and went into the water. Hudson loved having the waves crash against him. After awhile he would run out laughing. They really had a blast!

In the Tent

Finley was so excited to be lying in Hudson's sleeping bag she couldn't stop laughing. They both made it through the first night of camping!!

First Time Camping

We decided to take the kids to go camping at San Elijo Beach for the weekend. All the campsites are up on the bluff and look down onto the ocean. The kids were both so excited that they wanted to help do everything when we got there. After we set up we had smores and the kids couldn't stop smiling. Here are some pictures of the first night. Sorry Finley picture is blurry because she wouldn't stop moving!

New Sleeping Bags

This evening we went and got the kids new sleeping bags. Hudson feel asleep on the way home but Finley had to try hers out. Here she is all cuddled up!

Beach in Carpenteria

Today we drove up in the afternoon to Carpenteria to see Grandma and Grandpa. They flew in for a few days so we went up to see them before they came down to spend the weekend with us. We went and explored the beach and the cute town. Finley would venture into the water but Hudson did not. After dinner we headed back home. The kids loved seeing Grandma and Grandpa! Especially since they had no idea where we were going or who we were seeing.

Boating in the Huntington Harbor

Today our friends invited us to go boating with another family in the Huntington Harbor. Hudson was hesitant at first but then once we were there both of them had a great time. It was very relaxing and a beautiful, fun day. Here are a few photos that our friend sent us. More will follow once I download them. Thank you Alexis and Wanching for inviting us!!!

Messy Finley

While we were photographing all the items for auction, Finley decided she wanted to get in the mud. What a girly girl!!! She did not want anyone to take her picture as is evident by her stare.

Trip to San Diego

For spring break we took a few days and went to San Diego. Hudson loves watching the boats and helicopters in the bay. He can sit in the window of our hotel room and just watch. We actually have a picture of Hudson in the window when he was little. This time we got both of them sitting there. We had fun at sea world and went over to Coronado for ice cream. On our way home we stopped and went to the long beach aquarium. Finley loves watching the fish. We had a great trip.

Mad About Nap Time!

Finley was so mad that she had to go down for her nap today and this was the face she gave. She can really lay it on!

First Haircut for Finley

Finley got her first haircut today. She was very serious while she was sitting in the chair. After Jennifer finished cutting it she decided to put it into pigtails. She looked too cute. We then were off to a birthday party. On our way there Finley decided to put stickers all over her face and body.
