Anniversary

I can't believe that it has been 8 years since I married this amazing man. Time flies when you are having fun!!! He truly is a blessing to have in our lives. Look forward to the many years ahead.

Today Mara and the kids came over for a quick lunch. I had to post this picture of Ave. She is in the phase of dressing herself. I was laughing when she walked through the door. Gotta love the different color socks!!

New Rocking Chair

Dave brought down a little rocking chair from Nana's house. The chair was actually Irene's when she was little. He wasn't sure about it at first since it rocked but now he likes it. I now find him sitting there eating his snacks.

Park & Beach at Coronado

Today we went to the beach on Coronado with the Logans. We are having a great time here in San Diego. Hudson still isn't too keen on the beach though. Everytime we go he is always tired and ends up hating it. I think it is going to take some time for him to get use to it. He did love the fact that the big military planes came right over the beach to land. Hudson and his airplanes!!! Here are a few photos. I will have more from the weekend later.

Play date with Ethan

A couple of weeks ago Sarah and Ethan came over to play. The boys had a great time with the water. Sarah emailed me a couple of cute photos from that day. I love the one with the boys standing on the gate together. Hudson does not like when he gets the water in his face but Ethan had no problem doing it to himself. They are too cute together!

Daddy's Boy

I love that Hudson is starting to be a daddy's boy. When Dave is around Hudson is usually following Dave trying to help him with whatever he can. Here are a couple of cute pictures from daddy time.

Happy Birthday Grandpa Matt!!!

Today is Grandpa Matt's birthday. In order to celebrate I decided to give Hudson a popsicle. He was in heaven. I am glad that we were outside because it ended up everywhere. Little did I know I was creating a popsicle monster. Now he opens the freezer and wants to get a popsicle out everytime he is in the kitchen. I have now hidden the popsicles on the bottom shelf.

Kids!

Today Dave and I babysat Jasper and Ave while Mara and Joey went to a baby shower. Hudson always loves having them around. They play so nicely together. We played soccer and went in the pool. After that we had dinner, bath and to bed for Hudson. He was so tired from playing with his buddies. Here are a few cute photos. The best one is Hudson and Ave talking in the phone together. Scary thought!!!

Cuddling with Daddy

I told Hudson it was time to go take his nap today and he said "cuddle" "daddy". He was trying to get out of going to bed right then. He then proceeded to climb up onto Dave and pretend to fall asleep. He kept trying to mess around. He was too cute. After I told him it was time for nap he cried the whole way into his room saying daddy. He thinks daddy is going to save him these days!
