Christmas Morning

Hudson's first Christmas was lots of fun. We woke up this morning and had our own family Christmas before grandpa Matt and Lynne woke up. He opened his books first and after that it was history. He loves his books!!! After everyone woke up we went down stairs and had Christmas. After all the presents were open Hudson decided to bang on the window and talk to the dog Buster. We had a great morning!

Christmas Afternoon

This afternoon all my Dad's family came over. It was great to spend time with all of them. Hudson was a little overwhelmed at first with all the people but then he was quite the charmer. It was especially great to see Grandpa Don and Grandma Fran. Hudson had fun playing with my cousin Julia. She was so sweet with him. Dinner was great! Thanks Dad and Lynne for hosting everyone.

Christmas Eve

Today we got in the car and drove up north. Hudson was an angel and slept a good chunk of the way. When we got up there we got to see my best friends Shawna and Kerrin and their wonerful family. After that we headed to my dad's for dinner. It was a shorter trip then we expected which is always nice.

Second Tooth

Today Hudson finally got his second tooth! He is working on more as we speak. Hudson also wanted to say Happy Birthday to Aunt Gaby!

Christmas with Grandma Irene and Cumbess Family

After Hudson and I got home from up north today, we had Christmas with Irene and the Cumbess family. We had a great dinner and then opened presents. They got Hudson a Tonka truck ride on. He had so much fun with putting the blocks into the car. Also he had fun with the box that it came in because it was so large. Thank you guys for the great gifts!!!

Beach

Today my Uncle David, Aunt Susan and my cousins Ashely and Emily came to the beach house to have Christmas lunch. Hudson had fun opening the presents they brought. After that we went down to the beach. Hudson wasn't too sure about the sand. It was a whole new thing for him.

Uncle Jason

This weekend Hudson and I went up north to celebrate Christmas with all my brother and sisters. Of course I didn't take many pictures because I was chasing him around but I did get a few of Hudson with Uncle Jason one morning.

Packing

This morning I was packing for our trip up north. I came into the room to find Hudson in the suitcase pulling everything out. He was helping me unpack. He found his grandma and grandpas present and started ripping it open. He was so proud of himself!

Block Time

Today Hudson discovered that he could throw the blocks and climb on them to get something he wants higher.

Funny Face

I thought this face was funny this morning. His gums are so swollen where his second tooth is coming in that he makes the funniest faces trying to relieve pressure. The closet doors in our room have glass on them so I find him making faces at himself. Too cute!!!

Santa

Tonight we went to the Altadena Country Club with Dick and Judy for dinner. They had Santa and Carolers. Hudson loved watching the carolers sing. At first he sat on Santas lap and didn't realize what was going on. After he was off he got more comfortable and wanted to crawl over to Santa when all the other kids were sitting on his lap. Hudson was an angel considering it was past his bedtime. He sat in his high chair and chewed on a piece of bread throughout dinner. On the way home he fell fast asleep.

Morning Playtime

All Hudson wants to do these days is play with his toys. He is really into his trucks and cars. Nana was trying to get him to sit on her lap for a picture and that was not happening. He loves to bang and throw anything that is small enough. He is getting to be a total boy!

Automoblox

It is amazing to see how quickly kids figure things out. Hudson has now figured out how to take the wheel off of his automoblox and then trys to put it back on. He is so proud of himself. Today we finally got to go to court regarding our new house and we got it. Now the fun process begins of remodeling. We are very excited!!! Thanks Uncle Jason for my cool old mans sweatsuit!!!

Christmas Lights

After we got home, Irene and I put up the christmas lights outside. Hudson was all smiles looking at them. He kept reaching into the air and wanting to touch them. He is so curious about everything now.
