Drawing with Grandma Sharon

Finley and Grandma were drawing pictures on the Ipad this afternoon. Finley was fascinated with the bright colors. She drew her first masterpiece! I am sure there are many more to come.

Hudson's Birthday Party

Today we had a birthday party for Hudson. We went to Travel Town with all of his friends. It was pouring rain outside and we thought it was going to be a disaster. We got to the park and it cleared up. The kids had fun playing in the trains and the puddles!! I forgot my camera so here is one picture of Hudson and hos cake.

I caught Grandpa Rob & Finley hanging out on the back porch this morning. To bad I could not get them both to look at me at the same time!

Dinner

Tonight we took Hudson to Shogun for dinner for his birthday. They sang to him and he actually wore the hat. He had fun. Here is the photo they took of us. Cute family photo!

Hudson and His Fire Station

Hudson is in love with his new lego fire station. He can sit and play with it for hours. Finley loves to be right by him and watch every move he makes. He is going to be in trouble when she starts to crawl!!

Happy Birthday Hudson!!!

Wow... My little boy is 3 years old. I can remember the day he was born. I am so happy that he is such a sweet boy. He definitely has his moments but which 3 year old doesn't. He is loving school and to see him interact with his friends is cute. The teachers say that he likes and plays with everyone which is always nice to hear. Lets hope he stays on this path!!! Today he got to open presents and have cupcakes at school. For dinner Jay and Diana came over and we had a nice time hanging out with them.

Finley is 7 months old!!!

We can't believe how time is flying. Finley turned 7 months today. It is amazing to see how she is growing. She had a doctors appointment at 6.5 months and she weighed 14 lbs 15 oz and was 25 1/2" high. It is amazing to see how much of a peanut she is compared to Hudson at the same age.

Goodbye Grandpa Matt

Last night Grandpa Matt had to go home. Hudson and Finley were very sad to see him go. Here are some photos of Finley and Grandpa before we took him to the airport. Thanks for coming to visit us!!

Finley had a fun time hanging with Daddy and Grandpa Matt. She had such a great time she fell asleep on Grandpa Matts shoulder at one point. She was very interested in everything around her. Here are some photos of our little girl.

Rose Bowl Parade

Grandpa Matt really wanted to take the kids to the Rose Bowl Parade. It was a perfect year because it was really warm. We ended up meeting our friends the Grossers and we walked up to the parade together. As we were walking across the bridge to the parade route we got to see the Stealth Bomber go by. It was pretty amazing. Hudson loved being on everyones shoulders which got heavy at times. Hudson and Elle had such a great time that they both did not want to leave when the parade was over. I think we might need to make this a tradition as long as it isn't raining :)

Visit with Grandpa Matt

Last night Grandpa Matt flew in to spend a couple of days with us. We are very excited to have him here. This morning we just hung out and played. It was nice to just be mellow. You can tell Finley had a very hard day!
