6 Week Doctor Appointment

Today we had Finley's 6 week appointment. She weighed 8 lbs, 8 oz and was 21" long. She is growing great. Dr. Schlundt said she was a little piglet because she is growing so fast. She still is very small for her age though. She got 2 shots today and she was not happy at all. I felt so bad for her! I had to find a picture of her complaining!!

I can't believe that Finley is already starting to smile and babble. So far she has been a super easy and happy baby. Hopefully she stays like this!!!

Car Wash with Daddy

Hudson was very excited to help Dave wash his car today. Hudson wanted to spray whatever he could find on the car. I think he was making more of a mess then helping but he was having a great time.

I thought this picture was too cute. I am amazed that this little girl can sleep through any noise.

Fourth of July Part 2

Happy Fourth of July

Today we ventured out of the house and went to the Fourth of July Parade in South Pasadena. Our friend Kristin was in the parade because she was being honored as the teacher of the year. She is an amazing Kindergarten teacher. I wished we lived in South Pasadena so our kids could have her! Hudson wasn't so sure about the parade at first. He sat in his stroller for most of it. Finley on the other hand loved it... She was asleep the whole time.

Happy Birthday Mara!!!

Today is my dear friend Mara's birthday. Thank you for being such an amazing person to my family. I don't know what my life would be like without you. I appreciate everything you do for us. Love ya!!! Finley looks pretty comfortable with you :)

Fourth of July BBQ

Since Finley decided to come early, we decided to have a BBQ for the Fourth of July and Mara's birthday. We had a great time. The kids had a blast in the front yard playing in the water while we all just hung out. We are so grateful for the amazing friends we have.

Daily Photos

Finley is starting to open her eyes a lot wider now and is more alert. This morning Hudson decided he wanted to fit in one of his old toys. He thinks he is so funny because he never fits. The games two year olds play!!!

Morning Cuddle Time

This morning the whole family was hanging out in bed. Finley was still asleep and Daddy and Hudson were wanting to wake her up. She wasn't having any part of it though. She is a great sleeper already. Thank you God for letting us get some sleep.

My poor little girl had to have a shot today. She went to her two week checkup and she passed with flying colors. She weighed 6 lbs, 7 oz and was 19 1/2" long. She is starting to look like a little baby now.
