This afternoon Mara and I took the kids to run around at the mall. We caught the three of them playing in a tree. Of course Ave was posing for the pictures. I am starting to mentally prepare myself for the challenge of a little girl!!!

Easter
This year we had a very mellow Easter. We all woke up not feeling 100% so we decided to take it easy. Hudson was very excited to get an Easter basket from the Easter Bunny. I know this is probably the last year that he won't ask for an Easter egg hunt and everything else that comes with it. Luckly he had an egg hunt the day before. Happy Easter to everyone!

Easter with Dave's Family
Today we went over to Dave's Aunt and Uncles to celebrate Easter with all the family. It was a very nice and relaxing time. The kids had fun playing at the park behind their house. The had an Easter egg hunt and Hudson loved finding the eggs. He was the youngest so he got a little help! Hudson then discovered what was inside the eggs and he was even more happy. What kid doesn't want candy!!!

Carlsbad with the Cousins
Today we went down to Carlsbad to see my sister Ali and her family. Hudson hasn't seen his cousins in awhile so he was so excited. It was a really overcast day but the boys still had fun on the beach. They built sandcastles and buried themselves. It was great to see the three boys playing so well together. Getting a picture of the three of them all looking was impossible. After that we went to dinner and then headed home. We wished they lived closer so we can see them more often.

Watering
Today was extremely hot so Hudson and I decided to go water the plants out front. It turned into a huge water park. He not only watered all the plants but also wanted to play in the water. I showed him how to put the water down his slide. He thought that was the best because he would fly down it because it was so slippery. He got to the point where he held the hose and did it himself. He would constantly giggle and do it again. He was very upset when the water had to be turned off and he had to go inside.
