Morning Activities

Hudson is very busy in the morning. Here are just a few of his favorite things to do. These were all taken within 20 minutes of each other. He loves his books though. Every morning he gets quiet and I find him in his room reading by himself. It is amazing to watch him grow up!

Teeth

We are finally starting to get some more teeth. The one that just popped throught was the bottom right, where all the bubbles are. Actually I think he is getting more then one at the same time. We have had a tough time with this set. I hope they come in soon so he isn't in so much pain... I got Hudson to open his mouth for pictures today. That was a first!

Tent

A while back the Jones gave Hudson a tent. We decided to bring it out today and see if Hudson liked it. Well he did. He wanted Dave and I to be in the tent with him. He was having lots of fun trying to roll the tent all over the room while he is inside. That is the new game of the week.

Party Time in the Pool

Today the Logans came over for the day. We had a great time having them over. We decided to bring out the water toys since it was hot. Everyone was having fun. Or should I say the boys did....

18 Month Checkup

Today Hudson had his 18 month checkup. He was 24 lbs 8 oz and was 32 1/2" tall. He is average all around. Dr. Schlundt said he was very healthy and was happy to hear that he says so many words already. He also got two shots which he didn't like at the end. He is a tough boy!

Plastic Box

Who knew that a plastic box would be so fun. Why do we have toys?

Drawing

Dave was home sick the last couple of days and Hudson has been loving it. Dave showed Hudson how to draw on the computer. He was having so much fun. Here is his first masterpiece.

Outside

Even though it has been in the high 90's, Hudson still insists on playing outside. By the end of playing he is hot and sweating all over. He still loves to play with his dirt, rocks and the hose. Archie follows him around trying to take his rocks and sticks from him. They are best of friends.

Climbing in the TV Cabinet

Hudson's new fun thing to do is to climg in the top shelf of the tv cabinet. He tries to sit up and he gets mad at it because he can't sit up straight. He still tries to do it over and over again. He thinks it is so funny!

Sea World

So we decided to take Hudson to Sea World while we were down there. It was a very quick trip to the park. Hudson loved the aquarium parts especially the shark tank. He wasn't too sure about the shows. We saw Shamu and it scared him at first and then he was laughing and clapping. I can't wait to see how he is next time because this time he was tired and not himself. He fell fast asleep on the way home and didn't make a peep the whole way. We had a fun time.

Breakfast in San Diego

Last night we decided to go to San Diego last minute. We had all been sick and didn't get to enjoy any of our vacation time so we decided to go for the night. This morning we got room service and Hudson loved his toast. As you can see the jam was the best part.

Cousins

We are sad that the cousins have to leave tomorrow. Since this was their last night I wanted to get some photos of all of them together. Not so easy to do.... Anyways when they were done they decided they wanted to wrestle with Hudson. Hudson kept jumping on them and they thought it was the funniest thing. We miss them already!

Ice Cream

Dave's cousins are in town from Alabama. We love having them here. Leslie and Kevin have 3 boys, Davis, Henry and Sam. They are so much fun to be around. Hudson just wants to follow them and play with them. After dinner tonight we went to go get ice cream. Hudson didn't want any but Sam and Henry sure liked theirs!

Neighbors

Hudson loves going down to the next door neighbors house and play with the boys. Hudson now knows how to say Conner. Conner loves the fact that he can say his name. Now everytime he hears the boys he yells Conner and goes running down to them. He loves the big boys.
