New Years Eve!!

Dave and I decided last minute to have some friends over for dinner. The Logans and the Grossers came over. The Grossers had gotten back into town that morning from New York and their little girl Elle was a trooper. She was so tired but didn't fuss at all. She ended up getting her first New Years Eve kiss from Hudson. Before they went to bed he gave her a kiss on the cheek. He was so excited. We actually ended up staying up till midnight which was a suprise to all of us!

Drumstick

Hudson decided that he wanted to open the freezer and have one of our drumsticks after dinner. He came running into the family room with a big smile on his face because he had already gotten it out of the package. He had fun eating it from all ends!!!

Day after Christmas

Today Grandma Sharon, Grandpa Rob and Uncle Jason had to go home today because Jason had to go back to work Monday. Hudson was very sad to see them leave. Here are some pictures of Hudson playing with his toys and hanging out with my family.

Christmas Dinner

Dave made the most unbelievable prime rib. It was so flavorful and cooked to perfection. All Hudson wanted to eat was the yorkshire pudding and the potatoes. He was too interested in playing with his new toys. Here are a few photos from the evening.

Christmas Morning!

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. Grandma Sharon, Grandpa Rob and Uncle Jason came down on Thursday to celebrate with us. On Christmas morning Grandma Irene and Nana also came over. This was our first Christmas in our new house!!! Hudson started opening the presents but then wanted us to open them and he just wanted to play with the toys. He was entertained for the day with everything. Thank you everyone for the great gifts!!

First Haircut

Today was the day!!! Hudson's hair was getting way too long and he was constantly trying to get it out of his face so it was time to do it. He wanted to sit on my lap while she cut it. He was a very good boy. He didn't cry or anything. He still has his curls!!! Actually when she cut it on the top it got a lot more curlier because the weight was off. He looks like a little boy now. The last picture is of him being goofy.

Car

Hudson loves to play in the car. I was unloading the groceries today and he wanted to stay in and play. Here was a cute picture!

Lunch

Awhile ago Sarah and Ethan came out to meet us for lunch. Here are a few photos of the boys playing in the back of my car before we said good bye. Hudson was having too much fun playing in the car that he got very mad when I had to get him out.

Hat

Awhile ago I was out shopping with a friend and we put this cute hat on Hudson. I had to post these photos. He is suck a ham!!!

Asleep

Hudson and I were playing today in the living room. I ran out of the room to get something quickly and came back to Hudson on the floor fast asleep. This was the first time that he has ever fallen asleep like that. He was too cute. The funny thing was it wasn't even close to his nap time. The poor kid must have been exhausted.

New Rug

Today we got our new rug for our family room. I unrolled it and Hudson took a quick liking to it. After about 15 minutes of playing and rolling around on it he decided it was time to go outside and dig in the dirt. He is very active and chatty these days!

Caitlyn's Birthday

Happy Birthday to our sweet god daughter Caitlyn!!! She turned 3 years old today. We hope she had a great day.

Night at the Hotel

Dave had a business meeting and dinner out in the valley so they put him up in a hotel for the night. Hudson and I decided to go and spend the night with him. Our friends Sarah and Ethan came over and we hung out and had room service. The boys had fun playing and had tons of fun in the bath. Hudson was sad when they had to leave and he had to go to bed. We had a fun time though.

Trick or Treating

Hudson was a Shark this year. He had fun putting his costume on. Hudson loved the fact that he got candy everytime he said trick or treat. He was not so sure of everything at first but then he got the hang of it. Our neightborhood was crazy busy and the kids kept coming and coming. They had a haunted house at the end of our block that people come from miles away to walk through. Hudson was very sad when he had to go to bed last night. He kept saying pumpkins, candy. Trust me we have plenty of those!

Carving Pumpkins

Today we helped Hudson carve his first pumpkin. Actually it was more like we carved it and he wanted to play with the carving knives. He wasn't very successful with that. Dave ended up carving a witch. I think this is the first Halloween that we got so many compliments on the pumpkin. Everyone loved it.

Popsicle Time with Daddy

Right before bed tonight Hudson got to have a rare treat with his Daddy. He was in heaven. Dave and him bang the popsicles together and say Cheers. Hudson thought that was so funny. He loves his daddy so much!!!

TV Time

This morning Hudson was very mellow just sitting watching Sesame Street and playing with his musical toys. He started watching Tv in his boy and then laid down to the floor. This is a very rare morning!!!
