Finally a tooth!!!

This morning we woke up and Hudson finally has one of his teeth starting to break through. Yeah!!! You can feel the corner of the tooth and there is a little bit of blood. I hope that now since it has broken through they will not bother him as much. Of course he wouldn't let me that a clear picture of it because he just wanted to play with the camera. Here is the closest I could get.

First Thanksgiving!!

We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We are blessed to have all our family and friends. We had a great day. We went out to Grandma Irenes for Thanksgiving and her birthday. We had a delicious dinner with Peter, Janie, Susan, Clark, Eric and Nana. Not only was it Hudson's first Thanksgiving but it was also Grandma Irene's first Thanksgiving in her house. Hudson did get another FIRST today. He took a spill on the entertainment center and got a cut above his eye. He was sad for awhile and then he was off and crawling again. He is a total boy! Hudson was asleep while we ate but when it was time or desert he was ready to have some. He ate a bunch of my pie crust and a couple of bites of apple. He just stands there with his mouth open wanting more. He is getting to be such a big boy. We didn't take many pictures but here are a few. Happy Birthday Grandma Irene!

Great Toys.... Boxes

Today we got a box in the mail from Grandma Sharon and Grandpa Rob. As soon as I opened it Hudson wanted to play with it. Finally I put him in the box and he sat and played by himself. He did try and stand up in the box until he realized that he was going to fall over when I caught him. After awhile he was done with the box and couldn't figure out how to get out so he got mad.

My First Apple

Today Hudson and I went outside to play in the sun. I was having lunch and he decided that he wanted to eat my food. He took a piece of my apple and sat for the longest time chewing on it and rubbing it against his gums. He wasn't sure about the texture at first but he eventually got use to it and it took me forever to get it away from him. We brought Archie out to the front yard to hang out with Hudson and he just wanted to roll all over. Hudson wanted to get on him and pull his hair. They have so much fun with each other. Archie is going to have to watch out once Hudson starts to walk!

Music

A couple of weeks ago we went to see our friends Dick and Judy Rubin. Hudson got ahold of the maraca and was having fun shaking it and of course chewing on it. Here are a few photos Dick took.

Park Time

Today Hudson, Grandma Irene and I went to the park. He was having fun on the swings and the slide but was more interested in watching all the other kids that were there. He sat there and stared at all the big kids for awhile. I am sure he is wondering when he can get down and play.... Soon enough!

Pots and Pans

Today Hudson turned 10 months old and for his special day he decided to find the pots and pan drawer. He was having fun banging and sliding the pots on the floor. He was so proud of himself it was cute. Now everyday we are going to find him in the kitchen in front of that cabinet. To top it off.. He got his flu shot today. He was a good sport.

Visiting Family

Today we drove out to Santa Clarita to go see my cousin Rusty's new baby boy CJ. My other cousin Marti and my Uncle Larry were there also. CJ was very cute and Hudson wanted nothing to do with him. He found the basket of toys in the corner and played the whole time. At least he is learning to play by himself!!!

Big Boy Cup

We just bought Hudson some sippy cups to see if he likes them. At first he chewed on it and then realized that he can get water out of it. The front of his clothes were drenched. He has fun with it!

First Pancakes

This morning we made pancakes and Hudson was so excited to try them. He ended up holding it in his hand until it became crumbs. He has so much fun eating mommy and daddy's food now.

Fun with the Spoon

Hudson tries to grab the spoon everytime he eats. I never let him play with it because it ends up all over the place, including the window. Today he wanted it so bad I let him play with it. He kept trying to put in the bowl. Not bad hand eye coordination. Soon enough he will be feeding himself.

First Teething Biscuit

Everybody says they are messy and I found that out quickly. Hudson loved it though. He would not let go of it and he had it all over his face. He sat in front of me with a biggest smile ever. We can't wait for his teeth to come in.

New Toy

Hudson got a new toy from Grandma Sharon and Grandpa Rob today. He had fun opening up the package and then was very serious when he started to play with it. He was trying for the longest time to get the circles back onto the holder. He had fun putting them on his head after I showed him how to do it.
